Bank of Astana operating in 5 regions of Kazakhstan announced[1] about start of card business on WAY4 platform of OpenWay company - the software for issue and acquiring of bank cards, service of payments, RBS and routing of financial transactions.

Need to start own processing center of bank in record-breaking short time became the main objective set for the OpenWay commands and bank of Astana. The requirement was dictated by rapid growth of business of bank – the bank is going to start card business from scratch and by the end of 2015 to issue 30,000 payment cards. Implementing solution managed to be completed in 3 months.

Within the project the OpenWay company delivered to bank the processing solution allowing to release and service debit products including MasterCard PayPass proximity cards. The project also assumes integration with ATM network of partner bank. In the nearest future the Bank of Astana is going to begin issue on WAY4 system of credit cards and the credits with payment by installments and also to start a system online risk monitoring of transactions of WAY4.
