BaselCement Pikalyovo: year of work in a new ERP system

The alumina refinery of BaselCement company completed the project on transfer of accounting from one ERP system on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform a year ago. The project is implemented based on "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" by specialists of 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT).

At the end of 2008 after change of the owner of the plant it was required to implement to the enterprise in a short time (2.5 months) the new accounting system. Earlier functioning SAP R3 system belonging to the previous owner was disconnected. A choice for benefit of "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management" was made as this ERP system conformed to requirements of the enterprise for functionality, cost and quality.

In a project deliverable subsystems of accounting and tax accounting, cash management and production management were brought into commercial operation. Also data transfer was executed of the previous accounting system and integration of a new system with the system of personnel records and payroll used in the company is implemented. 80 jobs are automated.

Automation of production accounting allowed to analyze costs and structure of cost value of finished product output, to calculate actual cost of products. Automation of accounting and tax accounting gave the chance to keep operational accounting of a remaining balance of materials and finished goods, to monitor settlement of the company, to calculate and charge depreciation on more than 6 thousand to fixed asset objects, to perform transparent comparison of data of accounting and tax accounting.

Implementation of a subsystem on cash management allowed the company to carry out operational accounting of the actual cash flow on checking accounts and also to quickly make out all necessary primary documentation.

According to Makusheva Irina Gennadyevna, the chief accountant BaselCement Pikalyovo, according to the results of operation of a system within the last year, one may say, that "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" coped with accounting tasks of the enterprise, and in some cases was more convenient than the previous solution. First of all It should be noted the speed of system operation and report generation. So, time of cost accounting was reduced by 4 times. Also error correction became simpler.
