The mobile data center is implemented into JSC Bashneft

The SITRONICS Information Technologies company constructed the Russia's first mobile data center equipped with the class hi-end equipment in JSC ANC Bashneft. The project on creation of high-performance, failsafe information infrastructure is implemented based on own development SITRONICS IT of World Data Centres Daterium-3.

Background

For the purpose of increase in operational efficiency of management in 2010 in ANC Bashneft started complex automation of key business processes. For the solution of this task the industrial resource management system of the SAP enterprise was used. Ensuring smooth operation of the critical business applications which are a part of ERP SAP demanded creation of the IT infrastructure differing in high reliability, fault tolerance and performance. At the same time it was necessary to implement the project less than in nine months.

Solution

For accomplishment of the specified tasks by project team SITRONICS IT the unique configuration of World Data Centres Daterium-3 was designed.

Due to parallel maintaining a complex of the works connected with design of engineering infrastructure of mobile data center, installation of equipment, and also integration and software testing, to specialists SITRONICS IT was succeeded to create at the scheduled time the complete solution which is completely prepared for operation meeting all requirements of the customer.

Result

"At the moment in Bashneft the mobile data processing center of Daterium-3 based on which the industrial ERP system of SAP expected service of key business processes of the company is installed is successfully unrolled, - the deputy CEO for development of a product portfolio "SITRONICS Information Technologies" in Russia Maxim Bychkovsky says. - The SITRONICS IT project is one of the few examples of functioning of the equipment of the hi-end level in mobile data center.
