On November 6, 2018 company "1C: The first BIT" announced completion of implementing solution "1C:ERP. Enterprise management 2" in research and production company "BASIS".

Premises and project tasks

For effective work the enterprise needs to process quickly incoming requisitions, to calculate the need of production for materials and component parts, to timely create supplier orders, to plan loading of workshops so that to minimize idle times waiting for delivery of required materials. Accomplishment of orders should be monitored at each stage of preparation, production or shipment.

To the project of division of the enterprise worked in different information systems. Material accounting and their write-offs in production was conducted manually, there was no operational information about the current remaining balance. What materials are required for execution of the order – only the production director knew. Deficit of materials resulted, it was difficult to plan and control accomplishment of orders. Due to the lack of reliable data about a remaining balance of materials and cost value of products of the company it was necessary to refuse orders for small batches that led to loss of potential profit.

The information system, uniform for all divisions, which would allow became necessary for the enterprise:

  • Accelerate processing of the entering orders, provide operational assessment of their feasibility and marginality before acceptance in work and signing of the contracts with buyers;
  • Improve work planning of purchasing department, exclude the production idle times connected with deficit of materials and component parts;
  • Optimize work planning of production workshops, sections and divisions, to accelerate accomplishment of orders in production;
  • Provide formation of the management reporting about activity and a status of the enterprise at any moment.

Course and results of the project

For the solution of assigned tasks a system "was selected by 1C: Erp.Upravleniye enterprise 2". The Voronezh office of the company "1C became the partner in implementation: The first BIT". A system was unrolled in sales department, purchases and logistics, on production, in accounting and administration.

Operational management of all stages of accomplishment of orders – from processing of incoming requests before shipment of finished goods is provided to clients. Work is organized as follows:

  • At the time of registration of the entering order a system estimates its feasibility, preliminary cost value and profitability. After adoption of the order the production schedule automatically forms, materials requirement is calculated, if necessary – analogs of component parts quickly are selected.
  • On the basis of requirements of production and data on the current stock balance the purchasing department creates supplier orders, at the same time in a system the expected term of intake of materials on a warehouse is fixed. If the technology requires processing of materials or production of component parts on the party – from production orders to contractors quickly form.
  • After products are ready to shipment – in a system delivery of the order to the client is planned, his actual cost is calculated.
  • Each stage of order fulfillment can be traced in real time in a system in the uniform report.

It allowed to achieve the following results:

  • The production idle times connected with the shortage of materials are minimized, passing of orders on a technology chain accelerated.
  • The enterprise began to take in hand more small orders which were forced to refuse earlier, including their non-profitable because of interruptions in ensuring production with materials and component parts.
  • Uninterrupted production and shipment of orders allowed the enterprise to lower a margin on finished goods and to offer buyers more competitive prices. It, in turn, led to increase in number of new clients.

As a result for November, 2018 the number of at the same time processed orders on production grew by 2.5 times – from 50 to 120 in a month. The monthly volume of the shipped products increased by 20%. The profit of the company increased by 15%.
