2020: Production management system implementation at the Bee Pitron plant

On October 20, 2020 NPP Spectec announced the beginning of test operation of an information system of support of production at the Bee Pitron Group plant. A system has a core on the basis of TRIM and user applications with the Web interface.

One of activities of Bee Pitron Group – development and production of vehicle cable networks for aircraft, shipbuilding, space, land fighting and some other types of the equipment. The company locates own plant in the Leningrad Region (Vyborg), acts as the developer and integrator of hardware solutions for cable networks in the finished products – electric bundles and cables of communication lines. More than 200 people are engaged at assembly production of bundles and cables.

Before implementation of an information system the transparency of an information flow around production process was estimated by the staff of the company as quite low. Data on defects and failures of products arrived by phone, were fixed on paper carrier or in tables of Excel, sometimes lost. Access control to them was impossible, the status of their processing was opaque, and implementation of remedial measures for each incident did not give in to operating control

In this regard at the Bee Pitron plant the implementation project of the information system providing production process support was initiated. The software package TRIM became a core of a system, and the contractor of the project – NPP Spectec company, TRIM developer, the professional advisor in the field of management of physical assets of the organization.

2019: Development of support system of production

In 2019 the decision on expansion of support system of production, in particular, for the realization account of the module "Magazine of Registration of Discrepancies" was made. It provides information maintenance of process of engineering control and also processing of the defects allowed by assemblers at assembly of a product or revealed directly on production. For this purpose the module implements the Web interface to the corresponding TRIM functions.

The support system of production gained considerable development in the form of Register through which there is a distribution of orders for production by workshops and production sites and also responsible technologists, control of admission of replacements of component parts and deficit at a complete set is made.

A separate lot of work was demanded by a problem of registration of transactions of assembly and control for the purpose of display of the status of readiness of a product in real time and also the time management which is actually spent for production of a product. The special application version for tablet computers became result of this work. "The chart of readiness" was developed for display of a current status on products and orders for production.

2017: Information support of process of operational operational development of products by data from production

In 2017 information support of process of operational operational development of products by data from production is implemented. The corresponding software module received the name "Operational Magazine", by analogy with the paper document applied to these purposes earlier.

2016: A pilot project for the manager of production

Originally, in 2016, the small pilot project for the manager of production was executed. Then, already in 2017, integration of TRIM with a management system for design and technology documentation of SmarTeam from which technology documents on products are loaded into TRIM is implemented: route and accompanying cards (RAC). Everyone RAC treats specific product and contains transactions of assembly and control (from 10 to several hundred).
