Belregiongaz was protected from viruses and spam using Dr.Web

Doctor Web Company announced that the Belregiongaz company which is a part of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC selected a complex of the products Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite for protection of corporate network against viruses and spam. Implementing solutions from Dr.Web was carried out at the central office and 10 divisions of the organization.

Belregiongaz is a prime vendor of natural gas for the industrial and household enterprises and also the population of the Belgorod region. It imposes high responsibility to the state and end consumers on the company. It is necessary for maintenance of smooth operation of all nodes of the organization, among other, to provide stable functioning of its IT infrastructure. As a result of implementing solutions of Dr.Web in corporate network "Belregiongaz" information protection was received by 420 workstations, one mail server and 54 file servers, says Dr.Web.

As noted, migration of Belregiongaz on the products Dr.Web took place with direct participation of specialists of Dr.Web who within this project worked at the territory of the customer. According to the results of implementation representatives of Belregiongaz noted simplicity of installation, setup and operation of the Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite complex. As features of a complex the client selected function of passband limiting, taken away under updates, and a possibility of flexible management by their diagram.

According to Dr.Web, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite represents a complex of the products Dr.Web, including elements of protection of all nodes of corporate network and uniform command center for most of them. The product Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite is intended for protection of workstations, clients of terminal servers and clients of the built-in systems. In turn, Dr.Web Server Security Suite will ensure information security of file servers and application servers, and Dr.Web Mail Security Suite will protect mail servers of the organization. Products have the flexible system of licensing and allow the client to purchase only those components of protection which are necessary for it, emphasized in the company.
