2022: Construction of plywood plant

On March 1, 2022, GK Ventall"" reported that its Tula site, the company Di Ferro"," took part in the implementation of one of the significant investment projects - a Vologda Oblast construction plywood plant in the city of Socol. For the construction of the facilities of the enterprise, 2240 sq.m. sandwich panels were delivered. Production and the shipment of the material was carried out in a short time and in full.

Vologda the region, according to the information company, ranks third to the country in terms of procurement volumes, and wood in 2012 the governor of the region was tasked with ensuring its 100% processing. The construction of a plywood plant with an investment of more than 3 billion rubles has become one of the stages of the implementation of this project. Investor construction was performed by the company "."Birch forest 

The plywood production company became the first resident of the Sokol industrial park, located on an area of ​ ​ about 200 hectares. This is one of the priority projects for the region on integrated wood processing, which will create about 300 jobs. The estimated production volume is up to 85 thousand cubic meters. m per year. 

The plant was built in two years. Initially, steel structures for the construction of the main production workshop of the enterprise were supplied by another contractor. But at the end of 2021, the representative of Bereznik turned through a Vologda partner to Di Ferro for the supply of sandwich panels for the second stage of construction. 

At the first stage, material was shipped for the construction of partitions in the already built production workshop of the plant. The entire required volume of sandwich panels was produced and delivered by the Tula platform in just two weeks. 

"The shipment had to be carried out in a fairly short time. The construction of the facility was supervised by the governor of the Vologda Oblast, and deadlines were already approaching. Our production facilities made it possible to cope with the task without problems. We have fully fulfilled all our obligations both for fairly short delivery times and for the quality of steel structures, "- says Igor Tolmachev, sales manager of DiFerro.

At the same accelerated pace, sandwich panels were delivered for the buildings of the administrative complex of the plant and the addition to the workshop, where a 14 MW biofuel steam boiler house was located. The construction of the facilities was completed on time, and in December last year the plant was opened. At the end of February 2022, the company is still operating at half its capacity. The full commissioning of the plant will achieve 80% of the share of wood processing in the region.
