Orange Business Services will help to implement the project on connection of smart counters of water to LoRa network in France

On January 16, 2019 in Orange Business Services company reported that the developer of digital services Nova Veolia and his subsidiary company Birdz specializing in area of remote accounting of energy consumption for the smart cities selected Orange Business Services for digitalization of services of Veolia connected with water supply in France. Project Objective: by 2027 far off to read out indicators more than 70% of counters.
Birdz specializing in IoT-solutions daily collects millions of information units using own smart counters to help local communities, producers, the organizations and retail consumers to reduce costs on the electric power and to improve service quality. The solutions Birdz provide visualization and also allow to predict volumes of consumption and to reveal aberrations (for example, water leak) and the fraud facts.
Based on 12-month testing held in Toulouse for connection more than 3 million smart counters of water within the next 10 years the Orange LoRa network was selected. Use of Orange LoRa network will allow Birdz company to focus on the primary activity and development of new services.
In addition to Orange LoRa network, the Birdz company will use the platform developed by Orange Business Services on object management and data of Live Objects for collecting of large volumes of data from devices.
