The project based on ELMA365 increased the volume of products sold for Boiler Equipment and Pipelines

2024: Implementation of ELMA365

KOT (Boiler of Equipment and Pipelines) - a manufacturer of pipeline connecting parts, support and suspension systems, pipe spools and metal structures automated the processing of applications and built a single end-to-end process for the execution of the contract at all stages of the transaction based on the Low-code of the ELMA365 platform. The project was implemented by the manufacturer with the support of the Kotologika contractor and the ELMA vendor, who announced this on July 12, 2024.

Back in 2019, the company introduced the ELMA365 business process management system, where during that project it digitized 42 work processes. In 2023, the task was set to develop groups of processes on which the company's profit directly depends: the section "Processing applications" and the section "Deal management."

Project objectives:

• Increase the rate at which incoming customer requisitions are processed with a properly correlated item reference base.
• Automated bid processing and a single window for maintaining tender procedures.
• Shorten the period of inspection and agreement of contracts with reference to the requisition.
• Create a central process that stores all the information used in the transaction process.

The process of concluding a deal before the start of the project was a series of loosely connected stages, special requirements were often lost or transmitted incorrectly. Because of this, critical shortcomings arose, and an increase in the volume of work led to an increase in losses. This caused the need for deep processing of these processes. The situation was complicated due to the territorial fragmentation of workplaces, the large variety of software used and the lack of its synchronization, the transfer of information between departments through informal channels and the ineffective process of standardizing the nomenclature for customers and suppliers.

The development data business processes was carried out by representatives of various levels of the company: managers, ROPs, logicians, storekeepers, passport officers and many other services. By the end of the project, a clear and user-friendly interface has been created to manage requisitions and transactions, which can serve all stages from settlement to shipment for all departments.

Project results:

• The volume of products sold increased by 38% compared to 2022 and exceeded 2 billion rubles, including VAT.
• The number of shipments on time increased by 54% compared to 2022 due to refactoring of process groups.
• Performing discipline reached 97%.
• The number of ineffective work of employees decreased due to a single database of incoming applications from customers and automatic search for takes (out of 100 applications, only 1 according to statistics - double).

The success and innovation of the project was noted at the competition "BPM-project of the year" of the ABPMP Russian Chapter association, awarding a prize for perseverance in achieving process perfection.
