2016: Program

On September 10 and 11, 2016 within the celebration of the City Day of Moscow in Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure the 5th international festival of theater and creativity "Bright people" will be held. The festival will provide a 10-hour show integrating different types of theatrical and visual art with the Russian-French premiere of an air musical and acrobatic performance, bright theatrical projects and the main cultural participating institutions.

"Every year in Moscow special day — the bright and colourful festival "Bright People" comes. When our bank was 20 years old, we decided to organize in honor of it a large-scale holiday and to share our joy with all city. And now "Bright people" became a good tradition. In 2016 there will take place the fifth festival, and in capital Gorky Park, as well as five years ago, again there will be hundreds of actors, musicians, circus actors and dancers, and thousands of children and their parents will fill the city with smiles and joy. For the sake of it there is also our festival"

At an anniversary festival the Bright People company and the French street theater Remue Ménage will show the first joint performance "Wind Legends" which specially prepared the Russian and European masters of visual theater for a year for a festival.

"We dreamed to work with the European artists and directors long ago and to create the large-scale show. Combine bright visual images which would ideally be read in city space, with the dramaturgic plot giving to action depth and sense. For us it is experiment and call - to create images, suits, air sculptures here in Russia, integrating knowledge and experience of the Russian and European masters. If for France – street spectacular shows entered tradition, then for Russia such setting is performed for the first time and it is really unique", - the author of the project and the art director of a festival Maria Galperina, the founder of the Bright People agency tells.

At the heart of the principle of a company performance of Remue Ménage - emphasis on visuality: large objects, expressive images, large-scale scenery and difficult production part. The director of a performance - the art director of Remue Ménage Loic Delacroix graduated from the higher school of arts of l'AFPIC with the diploma of the stylist and managed to construct career in houses of haute couture of Hermès and Louis Vuitton, but the passion to circus art as a result won. Its own style – in connection of elevated style of a fashion and street circus art was so created. The performance - unusual beauty, with a set of difficult images both new technological and choreographic solutions will be it also.

On the area more than 10,000 sq.m the show with the huge flying figures, large-scale scenery and scenic constructions in street space – a theatrical stage for actors in an image of flowers, jumpers - birds, the dancers bearing stars, air acrobats and the opera singer - the goddess of the nature riding the four-meter Moon will be unrolled.

Scenery are created specially to a festival. Huge inflatable sculptures are a tornado and the sun reaching in height of three meters, and ten huge stars will be carried by over the heads by participants of a show. All elements of a performance - from inflatable sculptures to suits and headdresses of participants will shine in night - for their creation more than two thousand meters of daisies are used. Suits for actors are sewed from fabric which is specially developed for a show, and all scenery manually undersign under the leadership of the French artists.

Music to a performance was written by Victor Sologub, the famous Russian rock musician, the film composer participating in groups of Pop mechanic and "Deadushki" and working with Boris Grebenshchikov, Sergey Kuryokhin and Vyacheslav Butusov.

In addition to the show "Wind Legends" in the program of a festival more than ten street performances and representations from the theatrical companies Among them in 2016:

• snow-white retrocircus with constructions of five-meter height from AirCircus,
• street performance with unusual scenery of author's theater "Sketches in Space",
• performance on a joint of a fashion, circus and Dream Which Does Not Dream theater of the artist Venus Kazarova where each suit created from a dublerin and felt is processed so that fabric is similar to paper, and a show on unreal reality with images – suits messages and suits - the worlds;
• setting from street theater Tall Brothers (High Brothers);
• the street city fairy tale based on the play by Je. Schwartz Dragon from Freak Fabrik and the fantastic snow world which will create Theatre of a light performance "Light persons" using own technology developments, among which the programmable microcontrollers allowing to manage LED suits, neon elements and pneumoconstructions.

The festival culmination by tradition is the dramatized procession "Air elements": wind, clouds and heavenly bodies - stars, the moon, the sun - will float over all space of a festival and will become a part of the general scenic intention.

In addition to a highly topical theatrical program, at a festival the brightest people of the city traditionally take part: more than one thousand artists and actors. Art installations, performances, performances, choreographic settings and master classes are integrated by the general plot and prepare especially for a festival. Here projects of important cultural institutions of the city are submitted, including:
