On October 7, 2021, it became known that the Brightside Academy network of Ohio preschool centers began using the Waves Enterprise blockchain platform for its motivation program. Teachers and educators will now be able to receive special tokens as a reward for their work, in addition to salaries, which can be exchanged for gift cards and other non-cash bonuses.

The Waves Enterprise blockchain platform, which in April 2020 was entered by the Ministry of Digital Affairs of the Russian Federation in the unified register of domestic software, in the case of the Brightside Academy project provides full transparency and fault tolerance of the motivation system.

Blockchain keeps the entire history of token transfer unchanged, so that if necessary, it can be easily read - for example, to identify the most motivated employees over a long period as candidates for promotion. Thanks to the decentralization of the blockchain platform, its services are protected from problems with server hardware and cloud infrastructure, as well as from intruders.

Administrators of the preschool education center create task lists for teachers and specialists in preschool education in the service - for example, conduct extracurricular activity, receive positive feedback from parents of students or come to work on time within a week. After the job is completed, the center employee loads a report in the service, which the administrators agree, and a certain number of tokens assigned to the job are transferred to the employee's account. For these tokens, an employee can purchase Amazon certificates, gift cards and other non-cash bonuses.

By October 2021, the Brightside Academy network includes 14 centers in Ohio. In the future, she plans to scale the motivation program on the blockchain outside the state.[1]
