The Brilliant Telecom LLC company and Optima Group summed up the results of the joint project on implementation of the BI solution based on QlikView in the telecommunication operator.
"Now it is possible to tell with confidence that investments into QlikView paid off, – Egorov Evgeny, the CEO of Brilliant Telecom LLC noted. – At least it is connected with the fact that the solution based on QlikView allowed the company to break the trend characteristic of the VoIP-market – decrease in marginality at increase in number of clients and volume of voice traffic. Implementing solution on the basis of QlikView allowed not only to save the being available margin level, but also to raise it due to more effective search of the working and more profitable directions at suppliers, flexible management by routing of traffic, application of forecasting methods and contrastive analysis".
In a project deliverable, except complete implementation of technical tasks, such as creation of model of data storage and reporting system, ensuring role access for users to a system, processing of large volume of data 'on the fly' and others, one of the main business challenges – an intensification of work of staff of sales department was solved. The Aloe MVTS II system making before the analysis of traffic which is software-svichom, but not a BI system, in the conditions of significant increase in quantity of calls long enough created reports, reducing efficiency of sellers.
The system of the business analysis QlikView provided quick access to the necessary data with a possibility of carrying out the evident and deep analysis. Importance of this result is caused by the fact that in Brilliant Telecom very large number of calls – more than 3 million, the volume of telecommunication traffic in a month – over 50 million minutes is daily processed. Now at any level became possible to receive data on traffic in the necessary analytical cuts, to trace trends, to make contrastive analysis, to send reports and diagrams to clients and many other things. And it considerably increased the level of the rendered service for clients of the company.
The second significant achievement is connected with the fact that in the conditions of the continuous growth of volume of traffic the constructed system could provide answers to users with the same speed, as half a year ago when amount of data was several times less. "Today all staff of our company uses a system. It is the tool which already became irreplaceable in daily work. Successful implementation took place. Also there are no doubts that QlikView will cope also with our further growth!" – the technical director of Brilliant Telecom Neudachin Vladislav emphasized.
