Content

November 10, 2015. CORUS Consulting Group announced automation of network of BUM hypermarkets. The ERP solution on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 platform supports smooth operation of shops of the retailer.

Choosing a Solution

On June 20, 2015 the company management set the task to open the first hypermarket no later than September 10, 2015. With respect thereto it was necessary to find the solution which standard functionality and accounting of industry specifics of retail would allow to unroll it during the shortest time frame. Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 platform became the tool for the solution. The partner of the project on implementation selected CORUS Consulting Group having more than 15 years' experience of automation of retail and being one of key partners of Microsoft corporation in Russia in the Microsoft Dynamics direction.

Project Progress

During the project blocks of merchandising, assortment management, pricing, marketing, planning, purchases, sales, inventory management, the block of production and treasury were automated. Also integration into the 1C: Accounting system and the SetRetail 10 POS solution of Crystal Service company was implemented.

Considering deadlines of implementation of the project, the project team refused methodology with a large number of documents and approvals for benefit of work in the workshop format. Design, optimization and setup of processes in parallel with user training took place in a system within the interactive meetings of consultants from Corus Consulting and the staff of the company of the customer. Consultants together with users studied the preconfigured conventional processes for the retail company at once, and in documentation only fixed necessary minor changes.

Development Plans

The command of Corus Consulting continues work on the ERP solution for correct processing of declaring of alcoholic products. In the long term development of the block of finance is expected (tax and accounting) and control block linear personnel, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

The matter required fast reaction and effective actions from our partner in process automation. The company successfully coped and met the set deadline, proceeding from our deadlines of start of a contracted work with suppliers, to assortment planning, to the first deliveries of goods to a warehouse, and, at last, to opening of hypermarket. A responsible approach and organization of both parties allowed us to carry out an assigned task: the first processes of automation in a system began the work less than in three weeks after the beginning of the project."
