Bureau of equipment was unrolled by Skype for Business as corporate communications

On June 29, 2015 it became known of implementation in IT structure of Bureau of the Equipment company of a system Microsoft "Skype for business" and creation on its platform of the system of communications. The project was executed by VERITech company.

Project Tasks

The operating infrastructure of the customer did not provide uninterrupted customer relation and partners, its service constantly required increase in costs. The company management made the decision - to transfer the system of corporate communications to the platform of the Skype for business software product.

"Skype for business" helps corporate clients to use the usual Skype interface for work. With its help they can exchange text messages, transfer documents, make video calls, to hold online meetings, to call on landline and mobile phones from one application.

"Skype for business" is integrated with the Microsoft Exchange server and a cloud service of Microsoft Office 365 by means of what the staff of Bureau of equipment can exchange the documents created in Microsoft Office applications, use the convenient system of calendars.

Project Progress

The equipment for the system of corporate communications to Bureau of equipment was supplied by Plantronics company. The workplace of each specialist is equipped with communication devices proceeding from his business needs and individual preferences. It promoted creation of the most comfortable communication environment for effective work. All devices (headsets of the Savi and Blackwire series, speakerphones of the Calisto series and an USB tube of the Clarity and Caliso series) underwent certification on compatibility with a communication framework of "Skype for business".

Project Results

"Earlier we used the analog communication system and different automatic telephone exchanges in the St. Petersburg and Moscow branches. We had no unified number plan, and connection of new numbers especially when moving to the new building required considerable funds, – Ilya Yuryevich Yufa, the head of department of program technical support of Bureau of equipment told. – "Skype for business" from Microsoft appeared not only the economic solution – our costs in this direction were reduced more, than by 3 times, but also gave to users all set of opportunities, necessary for communication, provided reliability of connection between subscribers and data security".

"Skype for business" allows to organize business communication at essentially new level, thanks to enhanced capabilities of telephony, solution compatibility with the existing systems of video conferences, full integration into the traditional Skype program and very convenient in use and the ergonomic interface. The solution perfectly works on the PC, Mac, tablets and phones, providing so mobility necessary for today's business and availability, – Alexander Kotov, the technical director of the company of VERITech noted. – This optimal solution for customers for whom it is necessary full, but at the same time the inexpensive tool for communication and joint work. And we are glad that "Skype for business" met all requirements of Bureau of equipment.
