The Business Lines company began project management system deployment

The holding West Concept began the project on implementing solutions Microsoft Office Project Server 2013 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2013 in the company "Business lines", the press service of integrator reported on February 25, 2013.

Background

"Business lines" initiated the project proceeding from need of ensuring transparency of project lifecycle of development for company management, simplicity of justification and approval of projects, their results.

Project objective - creation of potential of development of project activity due to implementation of the platform of automation of project management.

Solution

Within the project in Business Lines company specialists of West Concept should use not a standard waterfall implementation methodology, but iterative development with dynamic formation of requirements to a system (agile-methodology elements). Use of this methodology is dictated by need of carrying out the project in a short time.

The main advantage of such approach is receiving by the customer the working system in the shortest possible time, let and not ideally satisfying his requirements at the first stage.

During the project it is necessary to integrate systems with CIS of "Business lines" regarding document flow on projects and the normative reference information.
