Kit-Soft automated the design and technological preparation of the production of Key Systems and Components

2025: Implementation of IPS PLM

Kit-Soft, a subsidiary of the system integrator Kit-Systems, completed the pilot operation of the basic configuration of the engineering data and product lifecycle management (PLM) platform of the Key Systems and Components Group of Companies (KSK Group of Companies). Kit Systems announced this on May 22, 2025.

The solution developed on the basis IPS PLM the Russian of the company's system Intermech"" is designed to consolidate in a unified information environment for all participants and automate the processes of design and technological preparation of production of more than 20 customer enterprises. Working together with various enterprise resource planning systems, it ensures transparent and prompt interaction of all its structural units during product development and production.

During the first phase of the project, the Group's head office developed and put into pilot operation the MVP configuration of the solution and integrated it with the customer's 1C:ERP Enterprise Management system. During it, the operability and efficiency of the platform in real operating conditions were experimentally confirmed, the identified shortcomings were eliminated and the platform was prepared for further scaling.

As of May 2025, more than two dozen work processes of design and technological preparation of production were automated at the head office of the KSK Group of Companies. Among them, we note the implementation of the DD and the change in the approved within the framework of R&D and CS, technical control and approval of technological notifications, the creation of an application for entering/changing the NSI nomenclature. In addition, they include the approval of the deviation from the design documentation and the requirements of technological processes, the implementation of equipment and the unloading of documentation to the archive. The second stage of the project provides for the replication of the system to all production sites of the customer and its customization to the unique requirements of the work processes of each of them.

The success of the implementation and, ultimately, the operation of such complex industrial solutions as IPS MLM, is impossible without the close interaction of the integrator's project team with the customer's representatives. No less important is a mutual understanding of the final goals of the project, ways to achieve them and the role of each of the parties in it, - said Kirill Gorlov, executive director of Kit-Soft. - Thanks to comprehensive support and invaluable assistance of specialists of various divisions of KSK Group of Companies, we were able to deploy the solution in a very short time, integrate it with the accounting system of the enterprise and carry out pilot operation.
