In the fall of 2015 SPAO "Ingosstrakh" offered the partners and agents service for calculation and execution of insurance policies online. The project was implemented in cooperation with EPAM company. Service gave the chance to agents and partners of Ingosstrakh to minimize risks and to increase efficiency during the calculating and execution of policies. In turn SPAO "Ingosstrakh" start of service allowed to unify based on a single technology platform interaction with remote links of sales and to reduce costs for their support and development.
Earlier for interaction with Ingosstrakh at execution of policies agents and partners of the company used a number of separate technology tools. Occasionally because of insufficiently fast data exchange there was no opportunity to rely on the most relevant rates and rules of insurance and to instantly obtain customer information and their insurance history. In turn it was necessary for Ingosstrakh quickly, without waiting for obtaining documents in paper form, to carry out an inspection, the analysis and processing of the insurance contracts signed through remote links.
The EPAM company based on which since 2004 the selected development center, supports and development of information systems of Ingosstrakh functions was involved in project implementation. Single solution was developed as the portal application with a set of different services. Such choice of architecture, on the one hand, provides an opportunity for agents or partners of the company to online make out insurance policies through the convenient Internet portal available in any place and integrated with an accounting insurance system of Ingosstrakh at any time. On the other hand, by means of web services systems aggregators and other applications of industrial or internal development implemented at partners of Ingosstrakh can be connected to the created solution. In this case at substantial increase of speed and quality of interaction with the insurer the staff of the partner companies continues to use usual interfaces and operation algorithms of the software. In close contact with IT services of partners of Ingosstrakh specialists of EPAM carry out setup of the solution, provide consultations and a complete documentation package.
Further Ingosstrakh is going to expand possibilities of the created solution and with its help to transfer almost completely to an electronic format interaction with agents and partners. Besides, accumulation of functionality for support of sales and connection to use of the solution of new channels via which execution of insurance policies, including departments of Ingosstrakh is performed belongs to the perspective directions of development of the solution.
