The large-format printer Canon of Colorado 1650 is set in production printing house "Avva Print"

2020: Acquisition of Colorado 1650

On April 30, 2020 it became known that the company Canon set large-format printer Colorado 1650 in production company "Avva Print". Installation happened at the beginning of March, 2020. It is the second Colorado in the printing house park – two years before Avva Print purchased the large-format Colorado 1640 inkjet printer, having become the first in Russia the owner of this device.

Colorado 1650 is a 64-inch industrial UVgel-printer with elastic ink and FLXfinish technology which allows to print both bright glossy, and magnificent opaque products on any materials without replacement of ink or the carrier. In Colorado 1650 the last generation of Canon UVgel ink which allows to seal a broad spectrum of carriers, including fabrics from polyester is used. The floppy mediums sealed by such ink can be rolled on volume surfaces and to put without risk of cracking of the image.

The Avva Print production company works more than 10 years at the market of large-format printing, specializing in production of interior advertizing on a film, a canvas, photographic paper and other materials for large retail of the companies of the city of Moscow. The company purchased the first large-format Colorado 1640 inkjet printer in 2018 - such purchase closed the production need for the increased speed and printing quality, an exact color rendition and environmental friendliness of prints. In two years of use the company was convinced that Colorado provides permanently high quality of prints and has the high level of automation of production processes that requires minimum operator intervention. Also thanks to this technology the consumption of ink at printing was considerably cut that promoted reduction of cost value of the executed orders. All this was estimated also by numerous clients of Avva Print company. These characteristics, undoubtedly, influenced the decision on purchase of the second machine from a series — Colorado 1650.

At Colorado printers there are all functions necessary for us for effective work, and the technology of printing allows to offer our clients that it is necessary for them - products of the high level. We actively use possibilities of FLXfinish technology, printing products for an interior design of points of sale: the opaque not glaring posters on a beklita for light boxes, long-lasting prints on films for the different design purposes and many other things.
