In March, 2014 one of HR consulting companies MOLGA Consulting of Russia implemented the project on personel assessment by Assessment-center method in the largest retailer of spare parts for AVTO domestic cars 49.

CAR 49 – the federal retail network selling auto parts which is present at 40 cities of the European part of Russia. Annually the company sets before itself the purpose to continue expansion and strengthening of market positions in the Russian market and also to improve customer service, bringing up customer-oriented approach to the work at each employee.

Uchitkina Elena, head of development of personnel of AVTO 49: "The financial wellbeing of the company directly depends on efficiency of any her individual employee. Adjust work in collective in such a way that it will effectively cope with any assigned task, is a main objective of any head. For the purpose of determination of level of the current competences of heads of filial divisions and identification of the zones requiring development the MOLGA Consulting company which suggested to estimate employees by Assessment-center method was invited".

At the first stage of the project experts of MOLGA Consulting carried out the analysis of the current approach to personel assessment to the companies and methodological base in this direction, main objectives and project tasks were defined. Then taking into account specifics of business and assigned tasks the exercises, tests and cases allowing to define managerial and communicative capabilities of heads whether they are ready to the solution of new tasks what manager's potential at them, and as their professional skills are developed were developed.

Evaluating by Assessment-center method became the second stage of the project directly.

Heads of filial divisions of AVTO 49 within several days performed a set of the tasks which allowed experts to see manifestation of their management, leadership, command and other skills, weak and strengths, specific features. Besides, a feedback based on the carried-out assessment and an individual interview with the expert which allowed to define own zones of growth and methods using which it is possible to increase personal efficiency was provided to each head.

Experts of MOLGA Consulting prepared reports for the management and HR service of the company and developed individual development plans on each of the estimated employees.
