Caterpillar Financial (Homnet Leasing 8)

In the Russian representative office of Caterpillar Financial the information management system on the basis of the ERP solution "Homnet Leasing 8" is developed. Katerpillar Faynenshl — the Russian representative office of Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation, financial division of Caterpillar corporation, the world's largest producer of the construction and mining equipment, turbine and diesel jets, industrial gas turbines.

Earlier for accounting and management of leasing and financial transactions in the company several separate software products were used that with increase in information volumes ceased to meet requirements of the company.

Within the ERP project activity of accounting, sales department, client department, credit and financial departments of the company is automated. In the ERP system processes of the regulated, upravlensky, operational accounting, reporting preparations (including for Rosfinmonitoring), processes of preparation of the transaction, signing of a packet of agreements, transfers of the equipment, management of operational settlement and relationship with insurance companies, processes of control and diversity of payments, managements of overdue receivables, the early redemption and change of agreements are supported.

In addition to standard functionality in the ERP solution the different supporting services supporting business processes of the client are developed. In particular, process of management of settlement is automated, the possibility of the comprehensive analysis of payments is implemented, the mechanism of control of filling of data and the consecutive approval of transactions is developed.

Now in the ERP system about 30 users work.

As a result of project implementation on automation of the accounting in US GAAP completed in February, 2010, key users purchased the convenient tool for unloading of ready data from a system that allowed to increase detailing, the accuracy and quality of formation of the corporate reporting. Successful automation of the main business processes of the company helped specialists of finance division to obtain quickly the data necessary for reporting on US GAAP and to create it within 4 working days.

Functionality on automation of customer relations and storage of history of clients were implemented based on the solution "1C: Enterprise 8.CRM KORP" of 1C Rarus company. Specialists Homnet Leasing and 1C Rarus jointly performed completion of the 1C: Enterprise 8.CRM KORP system under needs of Katerpillar Faynenshl LLC and its integration with the information system "Homnet Leasing 8". Today all functionality of an information system is transferred to working operation and is actively used by the staff of Katerpillar Faynenshl LLC.
