Digital platform for universities of the program "Priority 2030" launched in the cloud mClouds

2022: Using Cloud Infrastructure mClouds

A digital platform for 121 universities participating in the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia "Priority 2030" program has mClouds deployed in cloud infrastructure. The tasks of this state program for the transformation of universities include the formation of a large group of leading universities in the creation of new scientific knowledge, technologies and developments for introduction into the Russian economy and social sphere. This was announced on March 14, 2022 by mClouds.ru.

As a result of the implementation of the program, the competitiveness and prestige of Russian higher education and science will increase in the period until 2030; the Russian economy and socio-cultural sphere will receive sought-after specialists; new technologies, products and materials will be created that will improve the quality of life of a person.

At the start of the Priority 2030 program in the cloud infrastructure of mClouds, services were created as soon as possible that ensured the selection of participants among universities throughout the Russian Federation. The use of cloud infrastructure (IaaS) allowed the operator of the Priority 2030 program - FGANU Sociocenter to reduce the launch time of the program by several months and get the opportunity to further scale platform services without linking to the infrastructure.

For the whole of September (2021), more than 200 programs were listened to as part of the Priority 2030 program. This is an unprecedented event over the past 30 years, when each university was able not only to apply, but also to publicly defend its point of view, to make the accents that it wanted - it took 15 days for 12 hours. This is a very strong step by historical standards, noted program supervisor Andrey Volkov.

One of the important advantages of using cloud products, such as IaaS from mClouds, is that the client very quickly, with the support of engineers, gets a productive, reliable, fault-tolerant and scalable infrastructure.

As of March 2022, the digital platform is mClouds used to provide large-scale events related to the activities of participants in the Priority 2030 program.
