In Tver started the first intelligent system of control of crosswalks

On June 15, 2020 it became known that ISS and Дом.ru Business (JSC ER-Telecom Holding) started the first intelligent system of control of crosswalks in Tver aimed at security of pedestrians and motorists. The Center of the organization of traffic of the Tver region acted as the customer.

As a part of an intelligent system – the photovideo fixing complex providing detection of cases of failure to provide advantage in the movement to pedestrians with additional function of light maintenance of the people passing the non-regulated crosswalk into night-time. Dynamic illumination draws attention of the driver and warns him about finding of the person on the carriageway. Thus, a system considerably increases safety of pedestrians, reducing accident rate on city roads.

It is successful the means of photovideo fixing set on city roads allow to solve a problem of warning of violations in the field of traffic to us. Unlike traditional complexes, the SecurOS system - TRAFIK-SKANER-P with function of dynamic illumination carries out an important social task: provides decrease in the road accident level with the human victims at crosswalks which number sharply increases in conditions of poor visibility on roads, – Ruslan Mukhomedyarov, the director of GKU TSODD of the Tver region comments

Irrespective of a trajectory of the movement of the pedestrian, a system monitors his movement and provides light maintenance as soon as the person appears within the crosswalk. Due to use of machine learning technologies the complex provides adequate assessment of the situation with the minimum quantity of false operations or admissions.

Necessary data on each violation recorded by a complex will be transferred in CAFAO (The Center of the Automated Fixing of Administrative Offences) for execution of the resolution. It is the city's first complex with function of dynamic illumination. In plans of the customer – scaling of this technology on other dangerous sections where it is important to provide safe crossing of the road to night-time.

Tver is the first Russian city where this unique solution on prevention of road accident with participation of pedestrians is implemented. The relevance of development cannot simply be revaluated. System implementation is directed to decline in mortality on roads. It is sure if to cease to force down people and will pass in strict accordance with requirements of traffic regulations, this solution will earn also in other Russian regions soon. The intelligent system will be effective also in the city, in places where zebras take place in zones with the limited overview for the driver, and on high-speed roads where crosswalks cross the road only in the locations of localities, - Sergey Vlasenko, the head of Development department of business of ISS company noted
