Central Asian Logistics Management (Exceed 4000)

The I2 CIS company and TOO "CALM" (Republic of Kazakhstan) announce project completion of system implementation of management of the warehouse Infor WM NG (EXceed WMS 4000). Within this project of TOO "CALM" automated recently opened transport and logistic center of class "A" based on Infor WM NG (EXceed WMS 4000) for the purpose of process optimization of warehousing and logistics of products. The total area of warehouse terminals is 48500 m ², the volume of storage of loads – 65000 pallets.

Implementation of Infor WM NG (EXceed WMS 4000) was conducted by specialists of I2 CIS, according to ISO-certified 9001 methodology of GEM. The task of development of universal, easily scalable business processes for dynamically developing 3PL of the operator was set for an implementation team. Development and business process modeling was performed in two main directions: pharmdistribution and distribution of home appliances.

System implementation allowed to provide transparency of work of personnel of a warehouse that in turn considerably increased efficiency of use of human resources.

Importance of the completed project is noted not only by clients of CALM LLP, but also many heads of the ministries and departments of the Republic of Kazakhstan as they, within the Strategy of transport development of Kazakhstan till 2015, in the republic aim to create the transport system meeting the international standards. Kazakhstan has no direct outlet to the sea that the state moves to solve problems of freight transportation by construction of the large-scale highly effective logistic centers on strategically important sections of the transport system of the country.
