Rosneft gas stations began to install charges for electric vehicles

In early September 2021, RusHydro and Rosneft entered into an agreement under which the oil company will install charging stations for electric vehicles at its gas stations. The document was signed by a board member, First Deputy General Director of RusHydro Roman Berdnikov and Vice President of Retail Business of Rosneft Avril Conroy.

At the time of signing the agreement Far Eastern Federal District , six RusHydro charging stations were already located at Rosneft gas stations. Up to 20 fast charging stations are planned to be installed annually. The equipment, among other things, will be launched on the highway "-."MoscowVladivostok

Rosneft gas stations began to install charges for electric vehicles

This will be the most important stage in the implementation of the large-scale RusHydro Silk Road project, within which the charging network of the energy holding will connect the capital of Russia with the capital of Primorye. The project involves the installation of 80 charging stations along the entire length of the route with a maximum distance between them of no more than 150 km, RusHydro explained. The Silk Road RusHydro will pass through 18 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Also, as part of the signed agreement, the companies agreed to jointly develop a targeted program of locations for RusHydro charging stations at Rosneft gas stations in the subsequent period - from 2023. The company does not disclose the financial terms of the transaction.

By the beginning of September 2021, the RusHydro electric charging network has 48 fast charging stations for electric cars in seven subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District: Primorsky Krai, Khabarovsk Krai, Kamchatka Krai, Magadan Krai, Amur Oblast, Jewish Autonomous Region and Sakhalin Oblast. Plans for 2021 to expand the network to 60 stations. In 2022, their number is planned to increase to 150, connecting key cities of the Far East.[1]
