Cherkizovo Group completed creation of a budgeting system

2018: Projects of Philosophy. IT

In 2018 Philosophy company. IT executed a number of projects for the Cherkizovo group:

• Automation of the consolidated budget based on Oracle Hyperion Planning.
• Automation of process of budgeting in a segment the Turkey (technologies: Angular 2, webpack, Sass, d3.js, svg.js, NgRxba).

2017: Automation of budgeting in a segment Crop production

Technologies which were applied within the project: Angular 2.

2013: Implementation of Oracle Hyperion Planning

On December 23, 2013 announced AT Consulting integrator implementation in the Cherkizovo Group of the solution for budgeting and the GAAP reporting.

Project Progress

The project is begun in July, 2012 and passed in four stages. At the first stage completed at the end of 2012 requirements to a system are collected. The second stage - - included March, 2013 development of a prototype of a system and the project documentation. At this stage user training was provided. During the third stage the solution is brought into trial operation. The last stage is finished in September, 2013. It carries out works on integration of systems.

The model of planning is implemented on the Oracle Hyperion Planning platform. A new system covers three interconnected circuits:

• the production planning including planning of natural indicators;
• the financial planning including products cost accounting;
• consolidating, intended for formation of a consolidated budget of the Cherkizovo Group.

Project Results

In a system both annual, and operational planning is performed. Among important functions of operational planning:

• accounting of specific requirements, like planning of an expense of forages and veterinary medicines per day;
• balance of production processes of eggs, landings of chickens, purchases lacking and sales of excess eggs and chickens;
• the balance of production of finished goods which is optimum satisfying the order of marketing.

For collecting of the reporting under the GAAP standards on all Group the Oracle E-Business Suite system as a part of single integrated solution is used. The Ledger and Assets applications help the Cherkizovo Group to receive the unrolled reports of formation of planned cost, comparison of primary costs and the analysis of cost value. The prepared reports are transferred to the Oracle Hyperion Planning system for carrying out the planned and actual analysis.

"The budget for 2014 formed already in a new system. Now we have a uniform version of the budget – official, approved. During updating of forecasts all users see only one version of the document. That advantage which we already managed to see in system implementation of the GAAP reporting is, perhaps, a transition to monthly closing. Earlier we did the quarterly statement, now – monthly. And it is a big step. But the most important is a possibility of detailing of data, and so deep as far as it will be required", – Maxim Gaponenko, the deputy finance director of the Cherkizovo Group noted.
