Cherkizovo curtailed 1C bases using 1C-IzhTC

2022: Reduced 1C administration costs and server load

Cherkizovo Group curtailed bases 1C with the help of the company 1C-IzhTC"," which announced this on November 18, 2022.

The result of the project was a reduction in the cost of system administration, as well as the load on enterprise servers.

Cherkizovo Group is one of the producers of meat products and feed in Russia.

In its activities, the company uses several non-typical configurations: "1C: Production Enterprise Management," "1C: Poultry Farm Management," which includes 10 information bases.

Due to the large amount of accumulated historical data, slowing down routine tasks and reducing system performance, it was decided to minimize the databases. The task was entrusted to the specialists of 1C-IzhTC, which has extensive experience in such projects, and which has previously proven itself in cooperation with the Cherkizovo group to update non-standard 1C solutions.

The convolution work was carried out on the customer's side. As a result, the volume of the 1S:UPP base decreased from 1500 GB to 700 GB, and 1S:UPF from 1350 GB to 822 GB. The reduction in the number of databases led to a reduction in the volume of their copies, the release of disk resources and a decrease in the time for scheduled maintenance.
