MegaFon started a new high-speed route for China Mobile

By the end of 2017 MegaFon completed the large-scale project on start of a trunk route capacity 100gbit/with for the world's largest mobile operator - China Mobile. The organization of the channel which connected the international nodes of China Mobile became the first step in the long-term strategy of MegaFon on systematic development of own international network.

The trunk project was organized along geographically unique transcontinental route of MegaFon. This high-speed land trunk of data transmission between Europe and Asia passes through the territory of such countries as Mongolia and Belarus.

MegaFon provides to China Mobile services in lease of canals Europe-Asia with a capacity of 10 Gbps. Start of a route with a capacity of 100 Gbps will allow to organize delivery of the large volumes given to the international clients of China Mobile with a high speed and reliability.

MegaFon is present at the Asian markets for a long time, it is one of the directions of development, most strategically important for the company. Today we occupy a significant market share. For us a great honor to become the first provider of network of high capacity for the largest world mobile operator.
