On July 2, 2019 the Huawei company reported that it together with China Mobile Zhejiang company started 5GIntent-driven the Network.
According to the company, the network was created with active participation of Huawei company and was based on SPN technology (Slicing Packet Network) offered by specialists of China Mobile.
5G networks provide providing more full range of services and better meet the requirements of the vertical industries, than 4G. As an example of these services which use a 5G it is possible to call video transmission in permission 4K/8K, broadcastings in the virtual reality recreating the well-known West Lake in China and providing remote medical care from the Second clinical hospital of the Chzhetszyansky university. Providing all these services requires by 10 times higher capacity, than that which can be provided using technologies 4G. The traditional network architecture focused on devices, and manual processes are simply inapplicable to deployment, operation and maintenance of 5G networks. They should be replaced with intelligent solutions and automation equipment.
In 2016 specialists of China Mobile Zhejiang together with Huawei began to work on transport networks of a 5G, and in 2018 built the largest in China a pilot transport network of a 5G using SPN technology. For July, 2019 the China Mobile Zhejiang company built about 1,000 base stations of a 5G and started on the market the network cloud processor (NCE, Network Cloud Engine), thereby having created the China's first commercial resource for a transport network of a 5G of Intent-driven Network.
The equipment existing for July, 2019 will be used in a core of network and at the level of aggregation, and capacities if necessary can be increased. At the level of connection of a ring of access 10GE/50GE are constructed so that to meet the requirements of data bulks on base stations of a 5G. SPN is used for network segmentation, and intellectual routing based on agreements on the service level provides high quality of a transport network of a 5G. It gives a service level guarantee for the vertical industries and provides necessary support of industry applications with high requirements, including the Internet of vehicles (IoV) and an intelligent network. Use of NCE does possible automatic adding of resources and intellectual synchronization of hours that increases efficiency of process and also efficiency of service more than by 85%. The telemetry of information streams on site (iFIT) provides fast detection and restriction of failures that considerably increases efficiency of operation and network maintenance. Combination of NCE and analytics of Big Data does these processes by more intellectual and also promotes automation of lifecycle of a transport network of a 5G.
