At the end of December, 2020 the Chinese company EHang together with Greenland Hong Kong started in the city district of Zhaoqing (the Province of Guangdong PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA) service which allows tourists to make flights on air taxi EH216.

Meanwhile service functions only in the tourist Forest Lake complex which belongs to Greenland Hong Kong. In Forest Lake there is a set of sights, including seven natural lakes and picturesque wetlands which area is about three square kilometers. Nevertheless, EHang is going to begin to provide services of flights on the air taxi and in other cities.

In China flights by the air taxi became available to tourists

EHang pays attention to several advantages electric aearotaks before normal single-screw helicopters with DVS. In new air taxi higher level of security, smaller noise level, zero emissions and also low costs due to the lack of need to involve in flights of pilots. Considering these characteristics of the air taxi, the EHang command believes that EH216 can become the new main vehicle for survey by tourists of sights from air at small height.

Flight on the EH216 air taxi

According to forecasts of the Chinese association of air transport, in recent years in the tourist purposes at small heights in China more than 4.2 billion people therefore the monetary volume of this industry can increase to $9 billion could use flights. Air excursions in China are in great demand and have huge market potential. At the beginning of 2017 the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Culture and tourism and Department of Civil Aviation of the People's Republic of China jointly issued "Offers on assistance to complex development of transport and tourism". This directive is focused on development of air excursions in the main tourist cities and picturesque regions of the country.[1]
