In the city of Shakhty there began work the Central dispatching transport service 13.07.2012 The deputy governor of the Rostov region D.H. Vartanyan, the mayor Shakhty D.I. Stanislavov, the chairman of City Council I.A. Zhukova, heads of transport enterprises participated in a ceremony of its official opening.

A system on which the Central Dispatching Service works, - GLONASS/GPS navigation information center of the city of Shakhty. It completely controls traffic, passing of buses on route, parking time, load with passengers and also abuses of regulations of the movement or emergency situations. Now in Shakhty in operation on regular intracity routes there are 418 transport units which are equipped with this system. The manager sees with what speed the driver, his personal data, time of departure from a garage, arrival, its location and also unplanned idle times moves. Besides, the used program considers regularity of exits. Obtaining such exhaustive data, the manager will be able to send transport units to those districts of the city where they are not enough at the moment. All information will arrive to 4 managers in the operational hall. Watch is by turns, from 5-00 till 24-00, according to the beginning and completion of work of city passenger transport. I want to assure all attendees that universal use of a GLONASS/GPS in the transport system of transport will increase safety of transportation of passengers, will improve interaction between Administration and carriers, will lower current costs on contents and service of vehicle fleet. Besides, it will discipline substantially drivers and heads of transport companies. Sincerely I wish good luck in this necessary undertaking which, I hope, all transport workers of the Rostov region will support: the city of Shakhty began to work with the first in this direction. It is sure that to residents of Shakhty with introduction of this system will begin to go much more comfortably and more conveniently".

The mayor D.I. Stanislavov, addressing attendees and D.H. Vartanyan, noted: "This action for opening of Service a striking example of that non-profit partnership in the transport sphere today - the most effective direction in cooperation. When transport workers, having integrated, regulate everything the questions interesting them and openly interact with Administration in the form of public organization, it yields positive results. Other very important point that in all organization and development of the Service Administration undertook only duties of providing the premises. I hope too that our experience will be supported by other regional transport structures". He also added that the GLONASS/GPS system will shortly equip all utility special equipment of the city of Shakhty.
