The city administration of Perm creates an informational portal for citizens

The Prognoz company won tender for development of the "Public City Budget of Perm" portal, on the platform of the product Prognoz.Data Portal, the press service of the company reported on August 29, 2013.

Expectations from the project

Using the portal the interested citizens will be able to study information on the budget and activity of local authorities, to raise the financial literacy, to take part in public control over expenditure of means of city treasury.

The portal will contain data on income and expenses of Perm, municipal programs and investment projects, analytical materials on budget implementation. According to developers, availability and clearness of information for a wide range of users, submission of data on the budget in an evident type will become important advantages of a system. Thanks to "The public budget" residents of Perm will be able to estimate how city programs are implemented that becomes for achievement of this or that purpose.

Besides, on the portal it will be possible to compare indicators of development of the capital of Perm Krai to indicators of the cities in the neighboring regions and to use a number of additional services. For example, "the tax calculator" will allow residents of Perm to estimate the participation in financial provision of the city - at data entry about income a system will make calculation of the paid taxes and will provide distribution of these taxes by main articles of expenses. Everyone will be able to carry out own expertize of the budget and to leave the questions and notes concerning budget process on the website.

The works on creation of the portal should be completed until the end of 2013.
