Rostelecom will create the system of "the smart city" in Sochi

On February 15, 2019 Rostelecom reported that it signed the agreement with administration of Sochi on creation of a system of the smart city. The relevant document was signed by the director of the Krasnodar branch of the company Sergey Polyakov and the mayor Anatoly Pakhomov. The parties agreed about joint development of municipality, development and deployment of digital services, including technologies of the industrial Internet, and their integration into a single electronic platform. The purpose of digital transformation of Sochi — achievement of effective management and quality improvement of life of citizens.

In an asset of our company the whole complex of smart solutions which are constantly improved. For example, in the region we already implement power service contracts which allow to save millions of kilowatt-hours of the electric power, and means saved on it to direct to other municipal needs. We also place emphasis on development of System 112, implementation of different smart solutions in urban areas of rest, public places and installation of intelligent systems of security in apartment houses. All these services make a single digital platform of the smart city which will allow to manage engineering, transport and social infrastructure, to monitor a situation in real time, to analyze and archive data retrieveds.
