The administration of Tomsk selected the instrumental GIS CS MapDrive

The city administration of Tomsk unrolls works on creation of a municipal geographic information system on the principle of the unified storage of space and descriptive data in Oracle DBMS using the Oracle Locator/Spatial specifications.

As the software tool for creation and modification of space data the instrumental GIS CS MapDrive developed by CSoft group allowing to perform effectively in real time the multi-user regulated access to DBMS Oracle for unlimited amounts of data and any number of users was selected from the mode of multi-user access in real time.

Data visualization in CS MapDrive is made in full accordance with the system of reference designations accepted for different large-scale ranks, and the draft of the map containing information on the connections with DBMS necessary for the solution of a specific production objective, the used classes of space objects and styles of their display can automatically be displayed in other GIS-applications.
