"Color of sofas" connected MegaFon services

On July 7, 2015 the MegaFon company announced plans of connection of 120 points of Internet access for furniture company "Colour of Sofas". In addition to the fixed and mobile Internet access, MegaFon will provide to the new client the virtual channel of communication integrating remote offices and salons in the protected corporate network based on the Ethernet protocol.

Project Tasks

The communication channel (L2 VPN) from MegaFon will provide safe exchange of confidential information between platforms and guarantees quick access to the general databases and business applications. The channel will be organized on the basis of a reference cellular network of MegaFon.

Project Results

The client connected several services:

• "Office in a pocket" (provides access to corporate resources for the deleted and sent specialists both on trips across Russia, and in the international roaming, the service provides a secure channel of data transmission, works on normal smartphones, tablets or computers with the modem);
• "Multifon" (allows to make and receive calls, including international and long-distance, on the Internet on the most attractive rates);
• "Online conferences" (the efficient service of a video conferencing allowing to hold on the Internet meetings, video conferences, seminars or trainings from any place in the world);
• "Mobile informing" (the service is intended for distribution of information or advertizing messages of the company using the SMS). Also modems and routers within the option "The Equipment for Ruble" will be provided to the client.

"Scales of our network of communication between divisions required enough high costs, but after connection to MegaFon we could expand seriously our opportunities, without resorting to additional expenditure, - Savelyev Alexey, the CIO of Colour of Sofas network noted. – Moreover, communication expenses were cut down more than for 20%. Today the staff of the company makes calls by Russia and abroad at the minimum prices using service of Multifon, and a considerable part of meetings and seminars is held through Online conferences. Thus, we received from the operator a packet of the thought-over services for the solution of business challenges".
