Commissioning of the new passenger terminal of the Vnukovo airport began

In Vnukovo in the test mode of the beginnings work the first start-up complex of new passenger terminal "A" which engineering and information infrastructure is implemented by EcoProg company.

On July 6, 2010, the new terminal accepted the first passengers. At first the terminal will accept several internal runs daily, and then will start full service of runs across Russia and international.

On the technical and design features the new terminal is unique and now the most hi-tech aero station construction in our country. More than 100 engineering and information systems ensure functioning of the terminal – mechanical systems, power supply systems, communication systems and telecommunications, a security system, the automated control system for the engineering equipment. At design and construction tens of the innovative solutions, including patent solutions of EcoProg company are used. For example, for the first time in Russia the automated control system for the engineering equipment which controls an object of 250,000 sq.m. is created and has more than 120,000 points of control.

Smooth functioning of all services of the airport is provided with the automated control system and also reservation of main systems of life support – power supply systems, ventilation, warm and cold supply.

The complex of security systems of the terminal includes the systems of fire, aviation and physical security. Are a part of such systems: observation system behind runways, algorithms of detection of the forgotten things, numbers of machines, biometric methods of identification and also the device of blocking and localization of an object in the conditions of emergency and terrorist attacks. For more operational and effective work of services of security of the passenger terminal integration of systems as a part of which 1700 video cameras, more than 2000 annunciators of a security alarm, more than 1000 points of access control - all this allows to recognize this system of the world's largest is provided.

Intellectual information infrastructure of the new terminal provides services of tenants, airlines, services of the airport and passengers, exercises control of information services of the airport and the equipment.

Special attention when developing the engineering project is paid to creation of the most comfortable conditions for passengers and personnel. For lighting of big halls the system of an indirect light is used, for office and service premises the energy saving management system for a microclimate and lighting is used.

The optimization of the original project executed by EcoProg company allowed to reduce the maximum settlement power of an object by 2.431MBA. Annual economy of a payment for the electric power can make 45.63 million rubles (on rates of JSC MOESK of 2010). Reliability augmentation and security of the terminal will allow to reduce costs for insurance (to 50% of economy).

Operation of a zone of the international runs which will begin after completion of the administrative procedures connected with the organization of work of boundary and customs services will become a final point in start of the first start-up complex of terminal "A".

Start of the new terminal - a part of the large-scale program of upgrade of the airport complex. In 2009 within this program the new mail-cargo complex which creation of engineering and information infrastructure was also performed by EcoProg company was open.
