RDIF and Schneider Electric begin the project on increase in energy efficiency on production Cotton Way

On October 15, 2018 the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), a sovereign fund of the Russian Federation, and Schneider Electric, the expert in management of energy and automation, announced the beginning of project implementation within partnership in the field of energy-saving technologies. The parties intend to perform joint activities for increase in energy efficiency and reduction of energy costs on production capacities of Cotton Way RDIF portfolio company.

The project is directed to optimization of engineering infrastructure and installation of the modern equipment which will allow to reduce consumption of energy resources on the production site of Cotton Way in Khimki. Further the parties will also consider the possibilities on project implementation of increase in energy efficiency on other objects of the company.

RDIF and Schneider Electric will continue cooperation for implementation of the mutually advantageous projects in increase in energy efficiency which are equitable to the long-term economic interests of Russia and France and also promoting economic cooperation between the countries.

Thanks to partnership of RDIF and Schneider Electric the company will be able significantly to lower production costs and to increase power business performance.
