In February, 2014 announced Corus Consulting a pilot project on use of the solution of wireless analytics (Wi - Fi - analysts) in the St. Petersburg bar Craft Bier Cafe. It became the first known case of use of such solution in the Russian institution of public catering: earlier it was announced collection of data on visitors on Wi-Fi, mainly, in retail stores.

Technologies of wireless analytics are the new direction for the Russian market. They allow to trace flows of visitors in premises on the basis of the analysis of radiation of the switched-on modules Wi-fi of the user mobile devices.

Indoors one or several specialized Wi-Fi-sensors which fix such parameters as the unique MAC address of the device, the signal level and also date and time are installed, explained TAdviser the principle of work of the solution in Corus Consulting. Then these data are transferred to a cloud analytical system to which users have an access via the web interface. Data can be integrated with the existing BI system unrolled at the customer.

According to the CEO of Craft Bier Cafe Evgeny Zhebenev, system implementation of wireless analytics in their institution allows to obtain systematically data on what number of people visits an institution in these or those days how many it from them returns, what is the time guests will see off inside, etc.

"Thus, there is an opportunity to monitor influence of actions on behavior of the buyer, to reveal customer satisfaction degree work of personnel, loyalty level in general, and, above all - the number of regular customers", - Zhebenev says.

Among opportunities of the solution of wireless analytics for public catering institutions the director of business development of the directions E-Commerce, Loyalty & Mobility "Corus Consulting"Vyacheslav Kogan listed TAdviser such as optimization of operating time of restaurant, business lunch time, optimization of number of service staff and formation of special offers for often visiting visitors.

According to Corus Consulting, the percent of owners of smartphones with the included Wi-Fi reaches 75% of the number of all guests of an institution. This fact says that technologies of wireless analytics will allow to define quite precisely a customer behavior, believe in the companies.

The name of the Corus Consulting used in the draft decision does not open yet: "in the project the technology of our Finnish partner, one of the leading vendors in the field of analytics of behavior of visitors on the basis of wireless technologies is used. As we still did not sign physically with them the agreement, we cannot disclose a name of the partner", told TAdviser in the company.
