On June 30, 2011, during the third annual Cisco Expo Learning Club forum, which was held under the motto "IT Education - the flagship of knowledge in the world of technology," the results of a success story contest were summed up telling about the experience of using Cisco products and solutions by organizations of various scales in Russia and other CIS countries. As a partner of Cisco and a regular participant in the Cisco Expo Learning Club forums, C-Terra CE-Pi established a special nomination in the framework of the announced competition entitled "Project to Build Network Security without Borders Taking into Account National Requirements."

The winner in this nomination was Cisco's best premier partner in the Ural Federal District (has 4 Cisco specializations, including Advanced Security) - the Ural Center for Security Systems. UCSB submitted to the competition a project entitled "Creating a secure segment of a departmental data network in the Office of the Federal Registration Service for the Sverdlovsk Region based on Cisco equipment."

To implement the project, the Rosreestr Office (project customer) and the UCSB company opted for joint development of Cisco and S-Terra CSP, which allow using the most modern information security technologies certified according to the requirements of the FSTEC and the FSB of Russia.

The management of the Rosreestr Office set such tasks as fulfilling legislative requirements to ensure the protection of personal data, reducing the risks of compromising, modifying and losing information processed in information systems. The project plan was developed by UCSB employees together with specialists of the Rosreestr Office. The result of the project was the creation of a fault-tolerant telecommunications infrastructure, which minimizes downtime and the number of failures, and has the optimal value for money.

The Ural Center for Security Systems, as the winner in the nomination "Project to build network protection without borders taking into account national requirements," was awarded a special prize from S-Terra SiEsPi - Apple iPad 2, and also received an award from Cisco - Euroset gift cards.

This, on the one hand, is Cisco's best partner in the Ural region, which has Advanced Security specialization, and on the other, this company was the first to achieve the status of a competence center with us, "said Alexei Afanasyev, director of special projects at S-Terra SES. - We sincerely welcome the victory of UCSB and hope for even greater success in the implementation of joint solutions Cisco and C-Terra.
