LanCloud provided to DLL Leasing Cloud SharePoint service for localization of personal data

On August 13, 2018 the LanCloud company announced providing Cloud SharePoint service to DLL Leasing (DLL) company for localization of personal data.

According to the company, partners and lessees, being the Russian companies, within cooperation transfer the DLL different documents containing personal data. As you know, in Russia transfer, storage and personal data processing is regulated by the legislation. In addition to FZ-152 operating earlier, since September 01, 2015 became effective FZ-242 which, in particular, requires to perform storage and personal data processing of the Russian citizens in the territory of the Russian Federation.

According to the Federal law "About Personal Data" No. 152-FZ storage and personal data processing of the Russian citizens it has to be performed in the territory of the Russian Federation in this connection DLL, having servers in the Netherlands, was faced the need of search of the solution for observance of the Russian legislation. Like that solution selected use of cloud services which, in comparison with acquisition and installation of servers in the territory of the Russian Federation, had cost benefits and to service.
