2025: Transition to ETrH
DPD In translated transport invoices into electronic format using the service from Logistics. Kontur This made it possible to speed up document flow and reduce the use of paper. Now half of the company's intercity flights are carried out using. electronic bill of lading (ETrN) SKB Kontur announced this on February 11, 2025.
Before switching to electronic document management in DPD, four copies of the bill of lading and two manifests were printed for each flight. One package of documents remained at the departure terminal, the other at the arrival terminal, and two copies of the invoice were handed over to the driver. In total - about 40 paper sheets for one cargo transportation.
It took terminal employees 10 minutes to print and sign several copies. After the completion of the flight, drivers sometimes lost their documents, in such cases they appealed to the DPD with a request to restore them. For payment, carriers also requested paper bills of lading, which must be drawn up in accordance with the requirements of the law. They had to be checked manually.
DPD has selected the Logistics from Kontur service to switch to ETrH. The solution can be easily integrated into the internal information system, and among the target counterparties of the delivery operator there were already users of the Contour services.
