On January 13, 2014 the White Wind company announced project completion of complex automation for the plant of the boring DSD equipment system implementation, on the "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management for Ukraine" platform.
Project Tasks
Incomplete automation of accounting and management created difficulties for the enterprise: not timely readiness of information and accounting of materials and component parts, available in warehouses, necessary for accomplishment of the production order or repair work.
As a result, expensive component parts often had to be ordered quickly and in the volume which is not considering stock remainders that did not allow to optimize purchases at the price increased transportation costs. As a result - growth of product cost and services, overstocking of a warehouse materials.
The plant's management considered necessary, not only to organize complete accounting of all inventory items in warehouses and in production, but to enter sales planning, productions and purchases. Besides - to obtain information on key indicators of work of the enterprise, running state and cost value of each order.
The most suitable a technology product for the solution of these tasks, the plant's management recognized the "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management for Ukraine" system.
Project Progress
After market research, works on system implementation are entrusted White Wind company.
A system was unrolled in all divisions participating in primary activity of the plant (2 warehouses, 4 workshops, 2 offices), in total in 30 workplaces.
Project Results
- With system implementation the manager can obtain up-to-date information about the nomenclature and volume of component parts and materials in a warehouse that helps to reserve them under the specific order.
- Improvement of material resource planning increased turnover of warehouse stocks by 16%. * Purchase value of materials and component parts managed to be reduced on average by 5%. The average cost of actual warehouse stocks was reduced by 14%.
- Directors had an opportunity to calculate exact cost value of products and services, to work on its decrease, to analyze a cost structure per unit of products and to estimate profitability of release. As a result of it decrease in cost value of products averaged 5.5%, and services - 3.8%.
- There was an opportunity to control each order in real time, to reveal "bottlenecks" where there are greatest delays, to take measures. It allowed to reduce terms of accomplishment of contractual commitments before customers on average by 20%.
- The set-up time of the regulated reporting and closing of the periods according to accounting data is cut by half.
Alexander Glizhinsky, the chief financial officer of the Plant of the boring equipment of DSD LLC, noted: "Implementation of the "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management for Ukraine" program helped to aggregate all management of our enterprise, to refuse the separate accounting forms and systems used earlier.
