DVK enterprise (1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse)

The DVK Enterprise company is one of leaders in Russia of manufacturing companies of metal furniture for office, production and house application, engineering facilities of protection of banks and administrative buildings, safes, metal cabinets and also a rack and retail store equipment.

Till 2007 in an arsenal of the company there were five small separate warehouses. With the advent of a uniform central warehouse there was a need for the organization of its effective work with significant expansion of functions. The best solution of this task – the organization of work of a warehouse with its simultaneous automation by means of a modern information system and the specialized equipment.

In the course of system implementation specialists of Dialog IT company considerably expanded functionality of a standard product "with 1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 8". In particular, the module of resource management of radio terminals was processed – the soundtrack of each warehouse transaction is added and support of the "mixed" warehouse is added. In a system the possibility of more complete use of weight and dimensional and other special characteristics of goods appeared – it allowed to develop the mechanism of optimization of warehouse space at placement of goods in a warehouse and when laying on a paletta.

Within the project specialists of Dialog IT company used successful model of implementation – new and modified functions of a system were shown to the project orderer in process of their implementation at once that allowed to reduce considerably time for adaptation of the software product.

As a result of system implementation 2 stationary workplaces and 4 radio terminals are set. At the same time practically all warehouse transactions are automated: acceptance and shipment of goods, selection of goods, placement of products and inventory of a warehouse. Moreover, with connection of radio terminals also other tasks were reached. By means of this technology all activity of warehouse workers began to be fixed in a system, and on this basis the reporting on the done works began to be prepared. Besides, use of radio data collection terminals allowed to introduce the efficient system of motivation of personnel that should increase labor productivity.
