On January 11, 2019 the Energon company reported that the autonomous repeater of a radio signal in the mountains of Buryatia works on DELTA solar panels.
According to the company, in 2018 in the hardly accessible region of Buryatia an object of the Irkutsk operator "Da-Telecom" appeared. Successful experience of creation of an autonomous repeater of a radio signal was implemented using alternative power engineering. DELTA solar panels became the power source. The energy developed by solar panels and the wind generator became only an available power source in the hardly accessible area. Installation will allow locals of nearby settlements to use communication steadily.
Task
Within the project the contractor needed to set a radio repeater with the power source from solar energy in hard-to-reach spots of the Republic of Buryatia (Okinsky district, East Sayan Mountains) for providing local subsoil users with communication.
For January, 2019 more and more telecom of the companies implements communication systems on the basis of renewable energy sources. It is logical and correct. Structure of the equipment
For project implementation for January, 2019 the following equipment was used:
- Delta GX 12-200
- Delta BST200-24M
We began to be engaged in a radio communication in 2014. Then there was also a project on installation of a radio repeater in the territory of Okinsky district of the Republic of Buryatia which had to provide with communication local subsoil users. Initially, we were going to implement the project in 2017, but then at the time of the zabroski of the equipment simply it was not succeeded to agree on possibility of driving through the territory of its license area with one of subsoil users (get nephrite). As ways of a detour do not exist, the project had to be postponed. Work progress
In August, 2018 the group of specialists of Da-Telecom nevertheless moved forward on a repeater installation site.
At the first stage of installation works there was an assembly of a framework of the premises for accumulators and active equipment and also assembly of frames for solar panels.
In the course of installation of equipment it was necessary to install ten solar panels of the general the power of 3 kW and also the wind generator of 300 W.
Initially we collected all system in Irkutsk. Thanks to it, we learned that if to use optimum angles of an inclination of panels, then it is regularly necessary to clean them. All works were performed on the drawings prepared earlier which will be used also at construction of other similar objects. At the same time the repeater can be scaled, constantly increasing capacity of a communication channel and increasing power equipment power.
Results
For January, 2019 the repeater provides an order band in 60 Mbit / c, with a possibility of expansion to 250 Mbps. All control of the equipment is exercised using two controllers reserving each other. The data collected by sensors are sent in Zabbix. Also using special scripts for maintenance of climate control of heating and ventilation is exercised. Active equipment is connected through a PoE-switch (a possibility of the rebut of certain ports), also Zabbix polls him. Since other end (in the settlement) there is a satellite station to have an opportunity to obtain information on a case of loss of the main communication channel.
For January, 2019 the repeater gave the chance to residents of nearby settlements steadily to use communication, and the considerable remoteness of an object guarantees safety of the equipment against large localities.
The place is so hardly accessible that casual people are not there. There in principle conduct only two possible routes and an object is decently away from each of them. The local population and hunters, of course, know about everything that there and as it is set. As before emergence us, communication in settlements was not in principle, locals are extremely interested in safety of a repeater.
