Why Delivery Club transferred IT resources to a cloud

On October 20, 2015 it became known of the project of use IaaS by Delivery Club company. Service provider of IaaS the company IT Grad ß the product IT Grad Cloud Delivery Club^[1].

Project Tasks

The company experienced the permanent growth of loading it was required to react quickly to changes, and to regularly change and update iron - not the most optimal investment of capital for the startup operating in the field of delivery of food. The cloud was much more profitable and more convenient in questions of administration, support, ensuring fault tolerance.

Project Results

For October 20, 2015 computing resources of the company are placed in a cloud the company IT Grad.

Evgeny Salnikov, the technical director of Delivery Club, told:

"Now in a cloud there is all our system, everything is completely virtualized. We have no contact of the used servers with physical servers that allows to move the virtual machine with the website or the blog from one physical machine on another. Even if one of physical servers failed — it will not influence system operation in any way. Cloud computing is our everything, besides we pay only for those resources which are really used. The more traffic, the more also we pay. It allows us not to think of replacement or purchase of new servers. We dynamically manage all pool of the selected resources, and it is very profitable as, I will repeat, we pay only for the fact that we use. It is reliable, quickly and conveniently".
