DIT of the Novosibirsk region participates in project implementation of collecting of meteodata on the region

NVision Group and department of informatization and development of telecommunication technologies of the Novosibirsk region took part in start in operation of the meteorological stations in real time monitoring weather conditions in all district centers of the region the press service of integrator reported on June 11, 2013.

Specialists of the Siberian branch "Nvision Group" developed in all areas of the Novosibirsk region special workstations for creation of a meteorological layer as a part of a regional geographic information system. Logged data are quickly displayed on the special website "The Novosibirsk region. Weather online". Meteorological data are reflected in the form of tooltip balloons in the interactive map of the region.

"Thanks to modern technologies inhabitants can monitor change of weather in any point of the Novosibirsk region online. On meteorological stations high-precision sensors which register the atmospheric pressure, temperature, a relative humidity, speed and the direction of wind and also a number of additional parameters are installed", – Pavel Kaminsky, the director of NVision Siberia noted.

"The new service helps to estimate whimsical Siberian weather and to define how to put on and whether to take with itself an umbrella. Operational information is extremely important for some categories of citizens. For example, road makers cannot do without operational report, fishers are interested in it, it is very important for meteodependent people of patients with a hypertension, etc. Demand for relevant and exact weather reports steadily grows also in the industrial sphere therefore we continue to expand functionality of service – in the next plans start of video broadcast of weather conditions in each district of the area", – Anatoly Dyubanov, the Head of Department of informatization and development of telecommunication technologies of the Novosibirsk region told.
