2023: Implementation of the SimpleOne ITSM system
In the chain of stores of sports goods Desport (ex. Decathlon) from scratch, the domestic ITSM-system SimpleOne was introduced by the integrator "Media-body" (Devoteam Group). The project was put into operation in less than a month and is already operational for support Desport stores throughout Russia. This was announced on December 22, 2023 by representatives of SimpleOne.
According to the company, after the network left the French Decathlon the Russian market in March 2022, in the fall of 2023 it became known about the opening trade of stores called Desport on the site of its premises. The opening of the first outlets was scheduled for the end of November 2023, with a total of 37 supermarkets. To provide internal support to employees and automate - IT processes, the company required the urgent implementation of an ITSM system.
Desport colleagues set themselves the task of automating the processes of internal support for more than 1,000 employees in a georegulated chain of stores throughout Russia. The ITSM system had to meet a number of requirements: enter the register of domestic software, integrate with existing systems, and be able to further develop functionality. The opening of the first Desport chain stores was the main event for our team in 2023. We have been preparing for this for a long time, therefore, we approached with full responsibility the choice of a system that would include support for employees, automation of IT processes, and accounting for IT assets, and could also integrate with other internal systems and instant messengers. With the help of the SimpleOne ITSM system, the Desport sporting goods chain could close all tasks facing the company, so the partners signed an agreement and began implementation.
Our team implemented and configured the solution from November 1 to 24, 2023, and on November 25, the first Desport store opened in the Moscow Aviapark shopping center and the simultaneous commissioning of the SimpleOne ITSM system. Despite the tight time frame, we were able to launch critical processes: incident and service request management. Desport plans to actively develop the ITSM system, add components and modules. The solution allows you to continue development in parallel with its operation without compromising users.
