Earlier in February 2024, Mobile Research Group analyst Eldar Murtazin said that tenders for the destruction of Apple equipment began to be announced in Russia after the introduction of a ban on civil servants and officials from using it. At the same time, State Duma deputy Andrei Svintsov, in an interview with the NSN Radio Reference, called contests for the destruction of Apple equipment an indicator of the stupidity or corruption of officials.[1]
