Since 2017, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation has introduced XBRL accounting standards - eXtensible Business Reporting Language, which is widely used worldwide as an open language developed for electronic exchange of business and financial information. From January 1, 2018, professional securities market participants, management companies of investment funds, non-state pension funds and other organizations, at the request of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, begin to use the XBRL taxonomy in full.

XBRL reports are built on the basis of taxonomies developed taking into account the regulatory requirements for accounting (financial) and supervisory reporting. The Central Bank of the Russian Federation laid about 400 tables and about 50,000 reporting indicators in it. Throughout 2017, Consist Business Group consultants, together with NPF specialists, participated in meetings of working groups on the development of an industry reporting standard to the Central Bank of Russia and completed the first pilot projects on the implementation of tools for a number of companies, including NPF Almaznaya Autumn.

2017: Creation of a unified business accounting system

Consist Business Group announced in June 2017 the completion of a project to create a unified system for accounting for the economic activities of NPF Almaznaya Autumn JSC, whose head office is located in Mirny (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)). Within the framework of the project, a comprehensive management system based on Microsoft Dynamics was introduced, operations of processing and accounting of financial instruments and transactions under trust management agreements were automated, accounting tasks according to new industry standards (OSBU) and tasks of forming a set of accounting, tax and supervisory reporting were solved.

The main prerequisite for the start of the project was that since 2017, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation has introduced new accounting standards in NPFs. JSC NPF Almaznaya Autumn decided to completely modernize the management system, and chose a specialized solution for NPF Consist Business Group on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform as the basis.

As a result of the project with Consyst Business Group, NPF Almaznaya Autumn JSC, a set of financial management tasks was solved: the process of budgeting and formation of management reporting is automated, integration with the CRM system is implemented, data loading from management companies is implemented in the amount that allows you to form a complete set of accounting and supervisory reporting (both main forms and decryptions to them), a separate accounting module for financial instruments is implemented, accounting of paired accounts, automated processes of year-end closing and accounting of transactions after year-end closing, tax accounting is maintained under its own activities and trust management agreements and the formation of tax statements is implemented, automated process of calculation and accounting of tax differences and other functions required for accounting according to OSBU in full.

The project started in the summer of 2016, and already in the first quarter of 2017, the fund automatically formed a set of financial statements in the new system, consisting of 4 main forms and 57 applications, in accordance with all the requirements of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
