Directum in Atompromresursa: implementation of an ECM system in three weeks

In the company of Atompromresursa the DIRECTUM ESM-system implementation project is complete. In three weeks work with all entering, outgoing and organizational and administrative documentation was automated, process of approval and registration of agreements is optimized.

Atompromresursy LLC cooperates with the largest enterprises of nuclear sector of Russia. The company specializes in engineering activity, executes complex deliveries of products of commodity and material appointment for the enterprises of the nuclear industry and also preproject preparation, design, production and commisioning.

The company has an expanded organization structure that does especially important permanent maintenance of efficiency of internal processes. Workflow automation, gain of control of approval and document approval, system implementation of motivation of personnel became the main objectives within standardization of business processes. With respect thereto, the company management made the decision on system implementation of electronic document management. The staff of department of organizational development and service of personnel of the company carried out comparison of the solutions presented at the market by EDMS based on which the DIRECTUM system is selected.

"When choosing a system we estimated a user-friendly interface, possibilities of input of documents from different sources, uses of templates of the company, document storage in uniform base and a possibility of use of the EDS, – Dmitry Salikhov, the manager of projects of Atompromresursy LLC comments. – Also particular importance was attached to technical capabilities of a system, in particular, for us there was important an existence of functional automation of classical office-work and agreements in standard delivery of a system".

The implementation project started in September, 2011 and was performed by the Authorized partner of DIRECTUM – FBK company. As the main objectives of the project were selected:

• process automation of work with the entering, outgoing and internal documents;
• distribution of responsibility between employees and control of execution of tasks;
• creation of electronic archive of finance documents;
• optimization of work with contractual documents.

For implementation of the tasks and creation of the effective mechanism of control of execution of solutions the functionality of the Basic modules DIRECTUM, modules Office and Contract management was selected. During implementation the working group of the project made modification of cards of electronic documents and reference books of a system under the forms which settled in the company configured standard routes under approval of agreements according to the operating business processes.

The project was executed within three weeks, and since October, 2011 the DIRECTUM system was brought into commercial operation. Preparatory work was carried in advance out that allowed to pass quickly directly to settings of a system. Together with it, the project success was achieved thanks to 100% to involvement of a project team from the company of Atompromresursa, to her high professional skills and motivation on result. All this helped to execute an implementation project most effectively and in short terms".
