On October 13, 2021, it became known about the appearance of a train in the Moscow metro, which has interactive displays instead of windows. In addition to the capital of Russia, similar technologies are used in the metro of Beijing and Shenzhen, according to the Telegram channel of the Moscow Department of Transport.
The report notes that instead of the usual type of tunnel, passengers will be able to see useful and interesting information on a bright and modern screen.
Deputy Mayor of the capital for transport Maxim Liksutov said that all the costs of placing screens in metro cars were taken by partners. He did not disclose the financial conditions of cooperation.
The train with interactive displays was launched on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line of the capital's subway.
We always monitor all technological innovations and new services around the world in order to constantly increase the comfort of passengers in Moscow transport. The mayor of the city set the task - all the most advanced should appear in Moscow in the first place, "said Liksutov. |
Earlier, more than 12 thousand information screens were already installed on Moscow metro trains. They work in almost 3 thousand cars. With such devices, passengers can learn useful information on the way.
So, on the screens broadcast information about changes in the work of public transport. In case of an emergency, messages appear on a bright yellow background. Also, the algorithm of the actions of passengers in each particular case is displayed on the screens.
In addition to operational, the system also provides background information on passenger services, methods of transferring to other modes of transport and types of tickets. You can also find out the weather forecast and city news. All content is adapted for viewing without sound - the text of the message can be read on the display.[1]
